Edited review: Re-visited Joe Frank. They were apologetic and wanted me to return as this was unusual that one of their most popular dishes was dry. On return the JF burger was very good. Plenty of sauce, the patty tasted home made and was cooked perfectly. Chips were great and sizeable. Good value meal. Leading me to believe they had an off day on my first visit. I had a nice mochachinno as well. Tasted good with a strong hit of chocolate, but perhaps too much chocolate that I couldn't taste the coffee. It took a while to get seated despite the booking, stood there but another customer was prioritised over me. Once ordered the food came out quickly. And the outdoor deck was a warm and sheltered/buzzing atmosphere. Increasing my overall and food rating from 3 to 4 stars. Thanks for encouraging to revisit. It was worth it. --------- Original: The service was amazing, very warm, friendly and kept us up to date. For me I think it was just a poor choice of dish. Had the pulled beef toastie. It was very dry. Not enough fats, not fully tender, no sauce or if there was not enough and I couldn't taste it. Bread could have done with butter. It was slow going eating it. Doesn't come with chips. The corn fritters on the other hand were pretty good. I got to try a slice. Didn't get any coffee.

Cute little cafe in Ashburton, cosy atmosphere & the staff were friendly & helpful. We ordered eggs for brunch, they were cooked to perfection, mushrooms were yum For drinks we ordered a strawberry matcha & a smoothie which were also good, however I thought the serving size was a little small for the cost We had a little mishap when paying, they charged us for a coffee we didn’t order but that was quickly rectified & they threw in a free coffee Customer service here is Would defs go back

Our regular cafe. Always solid and consistent coffee using excellent beans. Al on the machine is prompt and very knowledgeable. Food offering is varied and even offers smaller menu items. Top job.

Great service. Delicious food. Stopped in for lunch this weekend. Straight away I was impressed with the great service. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and went out of their way to make it a pleasant experience. I had the B.L.A.T, quite nice. My friend had scrambled eggs on toast with bacon, which looked quite good. There’s an inside section and a courtyard out the back. We sat out the back. It was a little cold but not too bad. It’s on quite a busy street, there is on street parking, but not much.

The environment is spacious and comfortable, the key is that all handsome guys receive the reception, and the service is very good! Great product! Especially the quinoa salad, the material is very rich! Coffee is great!
